Birthday Card Ministry

In 1990, Life's Key came up with a plan to send every inmate that had ever completed a class a birthday card. God has taken this idea and blessed it greatly!
Each month we compile a list from our database of every current or former inmate with a mailing address on file and a birthday that month. Each of these people are then sent a birthday card as their birthday approaches. |
This has proven to be a very important part of our ministry. We receive many letters from inmates thanking us for the birthday card, going as far as to say it is the only one they received. Many times, receiving a birthday card will prompt them to write a request to resume taking courses after a long absence.
While it may seem like a small gesture, God can and has used this to be a life changing gift! |
